Call 811
Williams is an active member of the Common Ground Alliance that spearheaded the development of the national 811 "Call Before You Dig" campaign to prevent damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensure public safety and environmental protection. Williams is proud to support this effort and includes information about Call 811 in all of its current public education materials.

SCUBA Scout Patrol
In Florida, Williams sponsors the SCUBA Scout Patrol, which is a group of Boy and Girl Scouts, ages 14 - 17, that assist the Florida Marine Research Institute in conducting underwater surveying and monitoring of shallow-water reef habitat modules. Williams deployed the modules as part of our pipeline mitigation plan and as a sponsor, provides the scouts with the necessary SCUBA gear. The scouts, in turn, provide Williams with the data it needs to ensure the ecosystem stays protected.

Workforce Development
Williams supports colleges and technical schools that are educating and preparing students for our future workforce. Our donation of $1 million to Colorado Mountain College helped fund the Williams Technology Wing of the college's West Garfield Campus.
